Flower Inspiration :: Arrowhead Golf Club

Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton, Colorado is one of our favorite places for a wedding. The views from the ceremony site are AMAZING! Angie from A&A Photography was kind enough to send over photos from a wedding we worked on together at Arrowhead. Angie, and her husband Andy, are amazingly talented. The details they capture amazes me.

The flowers Sarah selected for her wedding: red and yellow gerbers, red & yellow dahlias, red & circus roses.

Flower Inspiration :: Hudson Gardens

We recently worked on a wedding at Hudson Gardens with Debbie of Save The Date Events. I had the great pleasure of meeting Jenni Maroney, a photographer based in Boulder. I was highly impressed with how quickly Jenni had the photos ready and she has already sent me a disk of images. I'd love to share some of her photos here:

Here is the first centerpiece we placed. The flowers included pink peonies, green hydrangea, red, pink and ivory spray roses, pink & ivory roses, pink bouvardia and pink dendrobrium orchids.

The whole room setup. We had elevated centerpieces on half the tables and the other half were lower versions.

The aisle was decorated with pomanders of hydrangea & roses.

The cake by Kelley Kakes. Kelley did an amazing job with designing the flowers:

Vendor Profile :: Sapphire Celebrations

I first met the mother and daughter team of Pamela & Angela of Sapphire Celebrations about three years ago, one of those chance meetings where the bride hired us individually. I'm so thankful for this chance meeting as I think these ladies are wonderful to work with!
Gosh, we've worked on so many weddings together that I couldn't even venture a guess as to how many..
We have covered Hudson Gardens, private homes, Timber Ridge in Vail, Arrowhead Golf Course and many more locations.

Here are some photos of our beautiful weddings:

Devil's Thumb Ranch

I'd love to share with all of you a wedding we recently worked on at Devil's Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado. Jeff & Iris's wedding was one that we have been anticipating for awhile. Michelle was the lead designer on this wedding and I'm so pleased to share all the details she worked on hard on.
Here is a shot of the ceremony and reception rooms. The ceremony was amazing. We lined the aisle with 8 elevated arrangements of glads, stock, delphinium, hanging amaranthus and hydrangea. A thick carpet of rose petals, larkspur & delphinium blossoms for the aisle. The guests were given sachets full of lavender to toss as Jeff & Iris left the ceremony. Trust me, it would be great if the computer had "scratch & sniff" capabilities right now! Iris told Michelle she loved the movie - What Dream May Come and we designed the aisle to give that feel.

Iris carried an amazing tear drop bouquet of pink parrot tulips, lavender & pink callas, lavender sweetpeas, lavender, pink cymbidium orchids and hydrangea.

The programs were beautiful. I loved the cherry blossom theme:

The umbrella Michelle designed with dendrobrium and cymbidium orchids. Love it!:

Michelle holding the umbrella for a photo:

When the guests entered the reception room they were greeted with a six foot table covered with lavender bunches & a tag with their name and table number:

Here is the first view of the reception room. Seven tables each with elevated arrangements of manzanita branches decorated with hanging candles, roses, amaranthus, sweetpeas, peonies and more. At the base was moss, river rocks and orchids:

An up close photo of the table number, love the cherry blossoms!:

An up close of the flowers on the manzanita branches:

Each place setting had a beautiful pink cymbidium blossom:

The gorgeous cake is by Rachael of Intricate Icings. She beautifully continued the cherry blossom theme onto the cake:

We hung 50 candles in glass globes from the ceiling to add the ambiance:

We placed numerous pillar candles along the beams and in the windows with a few cymbidium blossoms:

What a wedding! We were tired but very happy when this beautiful wedding was complete!

Flower Varieties :: Blue Flowers

We love it when brides come to us and they say their colors are blue and white. The only slightly difficult thing is the lack of blue flowers available as a cut flower. Some of the more popular varieties are show here:

White rose with light blue delphinium:

Brighter blue hydrangea with white roses, lisianthus and stephanotis:
