Bride & Bloom magazine is an amazing publication, I wait patiently for each issue - knowing that when it arrives I will be mesmerized with all its beautiful ideas. Now, imagine the thrill I felt when my friend Julie Gambrell of Classic Creations called to ask if I'd like to work with her on a feature?! Absolutely!!
So here we go:

Flower Inspiration :: A wedding at Flagstaff House
This past June we had the pleasure of working with Lauren & Mikkel on their wedding at the Sunrise Amphitheater in Boulder with reception at the Flagstaff House. Michelle was the lead designer on this wedding and most of the planning w/ Lauren took place over the phone or thru emails as Lauren lives in San Francisco. The colors for the flowers were mostly white with a few additions of light blue delphinium and hydrangea. Here are some lovely photographs which Elevate Photography sent over to us:

Flower Inspiration :: Anchor Center
Footers Catering recently asked us to design a centerpiece for a table they were hosting at Anchor Center for Blind Children. Footers Catering was also in charge of catering for this entire event; you can read more about this event here.

Flower Inspiration :: Funky Fall Wedding
Fall started out with a bang - a true explosion of fall flowers, textures, feathers, leaves, berries, grasses and even more feathers! A huge thank you to Kinsley of The Wright Group for referring Jodie to me. Kinsley just knew that Jodie and I would have a blast working together. Jodie and I worked together quickly, she came in two weeks prior to her wedding!! She and I had a planning session where we brainstormed how to add fresh flowers into her already very well decorated wedding. What made the whole process even more fun is that the wedding took place at Jodie and Kelly's private property in Watkins, Colorado. They have a huge building which The Wright Group and I got to decorate. Jodie loves textures, can you tell??:
I created two trees to place to the sides of their sweetheart table, I used 4' tall vases and filled them with manzanita branches, all types of fall branches and leaves, hung crystals and red votive cups:
The sign in table was a sweet arrangement of leaves, flowers and feathers:
Boutonnieres & corsages of orchids, berries, leaves and feathers:
Jodie's bouquet! I call it the everything but the kitchen sink bouquet :) We used yellow J. Story orchids, cymbidiums, burgundy hanging amaranthus, scabiosa pods, montbresia, montbresia pods, fall leaves, hypericum berries, feathers and gold wire. It was a fun bouquet!:
