Wedding Inspiration :: Fall at Devil's Thumb Ranch

Fall in the Rocky Mountains is just beautiful, this year the aspen trees seems especially golden as we drove to Devil's Thumb Ranch just outside Winter Park. The weather was just perfect for Eryn's outdoor wedding ceremony, the aspen trees golden in the background. Bright orange flowers combined with cream flowers were just to achieve the look for this fall wedding.

I had a great time collaborating with Julie Gambrell of Classic Creations on Eryn's wedding. For the round tables we used tall silver candelabras to hold arrangements of orange and cream flowers. On the rectangular tables we used wood slabs as runners and placed an assortment of containers filled with orange and cream flowers down the center. We designed the centerpieces in milk glass, mint julep cups and silver mercury glass containers.

Wedding Inspiration :: Chatfield Botanic Gardens

Lauren & Rian's wedding took place this past summer at Chatfield Botanic Gardens. I knew I had to work with Lauren when we talked about the details of her wedding - Autumn Burke as her photographer, vintage style using milk glass in the design, lots of yellow flowers with some peach accents, Footers Catering, reception at the Red Barn at Chatfield - I knew this would be a beauty!

The reception took place in the grassy area just outside the red barn. To give it a cozy and intimate feel we decorated the space with large white umbrellas embellished with green vines. Around the perimeter we placed lanterns on shepherd hooks accented with Italian Ruscus. Lauren found an assortment of fabric patterns at Fancy Tiger which we used as part of the centerpieces. Each centerpiece had a variety of white milk glass filled with yellow and peach flowers.

The new magazine, colorado brides, just arrived and I'm thrilled to see a Bella Fiori bouquet on the cover!!!

Here's a photo from the original photo shoot which shows the bouquet up close, it's all polo roses and ranunculus with white feathers - fluffy, feminine, flirty!

For the love of roses!
Come celebrate Valentine’s Day with us and create your own arrangement of roses! The class with start with a demonstration by Alicia and Chuck on creating a beautiful low and lush rose arrangement. We will take you through the steps of prepping your container, prepping your flowers and foliage and arranging. Then we cut you loose to create your arrangement. Each student will take home their rose arrangement.

Vintage pink and white floral designs for Jaimee's wedding

Backyard weddings are so great, especially if your backyard looks like this:

In addition to providing flowers we also provided all the chairs and tables for Jaimee's wedding:

Jaimee carried a vintage styled bouquet of roses, carnations, stephanotis with rhinestones, baby's breath, gerber daisies, calla lilies and nerine lilies:

Jaimee and her bridesmaids, the girls carried almost all white bouquets with just touches of hot pink nerines:

This picture is awesome, we created an orchid umbrella for Jaimee's daughter and here is Jaimee's dad carrying it! (Great shot Audrey!)

In the center of the ceremony arch we hung a large pomander (aka - kissing ball):

You know how I keep saying I've worked with the best brides this past season? Well, I also worked with the best moms! This is Pam, one of my favorites!! We had a great time coming up with ideas and designs for Jaimee's wedding.

The reception took place on the back yard patio - such a comfortable and lovely space:
