The opening of Element Hotel by Westin

I had the pleasure today of working with Cindy from The Food Guy and event planner Gina Chapin on the opening party of the new Element Hotel by Westin in Lone Tree, Colorado. Right away Gina and I fell into harmony with our planning of the flowers. Inside the hotel we designed arrangements of mostly yellow roses with accents of white dahlias, green hanging amaranthus, green hypericum berries with horsetail lining the inside of the vases. The larger arrangements were lined with flax leaves.

For the big splash (pun intended) I designed three floating flower arrangements for their indoor pool. I have to say, they are pretty cool looking arrangements!

What's New :: Lighting

What transforms a space quicker than lighting? I'd say not much... Lighting can add color, depth, interest, mood, warmth and ambiance to any room. In conjunction with Bella Rents we are now offering various options for lighting. This includes uplighting with Par Cans; both LED and standard flood lights, white twinkle lights, lanterns, hanging glass votives and chandeliers. For more information please call Bella Fiori at 303-233-5566 or Bella Rents at 303-984-4373

Flower Inspiration :: Red Pomander Centerpiece

How adorable is this centerpiece??

The wedding reception took place at Pinnacle Room at Hyatt, downtown Denver. The centerpieces were a pomander of red carnations placed on top of a vase which was lined with flax leaves. I love how Danielle selected black and white damask linens for the table runner - what a great combination!
For those of you wondering .. Danielle carried an all red bouquet and her bridesmaids carried solid white bouquets of hydrangea and gerber daisies.

Vendor Profile :: an update

One of the most popular postings on my blog is the weekly vendor profile. Unfortunately, it's been 3 months since I last did a vendor profile! Not on purpose, we just got so busy with weddings and the blog took a back seat. Starting next Friday I will start posting the weekly vendor profile again. And, goodness, do I have some great vendors to blog (talk up!!) about after this fabulous wedding season...

Who will be the next vendor I profile?

Flower Inspiration :: Fall hand-tied bouquet

Recently a groom that we worked with this past June called and ordered a European hand-tied bouquet to take home and surprise his wife. I had fun pulling together this lovely bouquet, the textures & colors - oh my, so rich!
(And, yes, we do fill individual orders for pick-up from our studio and for delivery.)
